Black Hills Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society and represents Lewis, Mason, and Thurston counties in the state of Washington. It is an all-volunteer-based, non-profit organization whose 1,300+ members share interests in birds and other wildlife, their habitats, and natural history. Citizens' Climate Lobby

Citizens Climate Lobby, Olympia Chapter, is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. In order to generate the political will necessary for passage of our Carbon Fee and Dividend proposal we train and support volunteers to engage elected officials, the media and the public. Deschutes Estuary Restoration Team

Deschutes Estuary Restoration Team (DERT) is working to restore the urban estuary in downtown Olympia by reconnecting the river to the Salish Sea. We are an advocacy group representing the interests of the local environment, natural systems with the services that they provide, and a community that values wildlife, water quality, economic opportunities and natural beauty. We serve as a center for a creative community-driven effort for the health of the Deschutes watershed by focusing on the most beneficial restoration project for the river: freeing it’s estuary.

Evergreen Master of Environmental Studies

Evergreen’s Master of Environmental Studies Program (MES) is an interdisciplinary graduate degree that prepares students for the complex nature of professional environmental work. With a cohort model, structured core curriculum, and a variety of elective courses taught by experts in their fields, students from any undergraduate major gain the skills and experience needed to embark on their own individual research through their MES thesis.
